Established in the year 1989, this is going to be your only retreat if you really want to see what the wildlife in or around Indore is all about. Spread over a total area of around 5 sq. km,  Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary offers a wide variety of flora and fauna as a treat to your eyes. Get on to a self-owned or a hired four wheeler vehicle and explore fauna species such as Leopard, Sambhar, Blue Bull, Jarak, Bhedki (Barking Deer) and flora including Teak, Saja, Eucalyptus and Babul Bamboo. The forest Rest House here is available for accommodation and can be used if you plan on staying here for more than a day. Also, there is a hunting hut at Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary that was constructed by the people of Holkar State in 1905 which is now being transformed into an information centre.
